About Reese Riemer

Rodeo and ranching run deep in Reese Riemer’s blood. He is the fourth generation to be raised on the family ranch in Stinnett, Texas - a ranch that was established 118 years ago. Both of Reese’s parents compete in the rodeo arena; his dad, Jimmy, was a PRCA Tie Down Roper, and his mom, Janie, competed at the NFR in Barrel Racing. Reese won the National High School Finals Rodeo Tie Down Roping Championship in 2008 and qualified for the 2011 and 2013 College National Finals Rodeo in Tie Down Roping. Reese began his professional rodeo career in 2012 with a bang - he was named the PRCA Resistol Tie Down Roping Rookie of the Year. He qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2014 and finished 15th in the World Standings that year. He again qualified for the NFR in 2016, placing in three rounds to rank 11th at the event and 14th in the world standings. The best is yet to come for this roper, who is currently in the Top Ten PRCA World Standings.
