About Haven Meged

Haven Meged is a distinguished professional tie-down roper renowned for his exceptional performances in rodeo competitions. Born in Miles City, MT, he hails from a family deeply rooted in ranching and rodeo traditions. Haven's parents, Bart and Misty Meged, along with his three siblings—Hayes, Harley, and Holden—have been instrumental in his upbringing and support throughout his career   Making his mark in the rodeo world, Haven qualified for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) in 2019 at the age of 21. His consistent performances earned him the world championship title. He also clinched the average title with a cumulative time of 85.7 seconds on ten head, solidifying his status as a top competitor. Haven has qualified for the WNFR every year since.  He was second in the World Standings and won his second WNFR Average Title in 2023.  In 2024, he was third in the world standings with over $380,000 in earnings.   Beyond his competitive achievements, Haven's personal life flourished when he married Shelby Boisjoli in May 2023. The couple resides in Stephenville, Texas, where they balance their rigorous competition schedules with breeding and training calf and breakaway horses. With over $1,757,000 in lifetime earnings, Haven continues to compete in the PRCA, as well as in the rope horse futurities.
