About Abbie Phillips

Abbie Phillips is a highly accomplished cow horse trainer and competitor, known for her remarkable success in the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA). She has gained recognition for her skill in training and competing in both the reining and cow work aspects of the sport. Abbie’s career includes notable achievements such as winning the 2021 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Non-Pro Championship with her horse, TRR Dual Smart Olena. In 2024, she made the move to the Open with great success winning the NRCHA Stallion Stakes Intermediate Open and placing Top Ten in the Open.  She is a 4-Time Worlds Greatest Horseman Finalist, with both Bed Head Cat and Peptos Stylin Time. Peptos Stylin Time and Abbie are a notable pair in the show pen, with Top 5 placings in The Run For A Million Cow Horse Challenge twice.   She is married to Kelby Phillips, a renowned NRCHA Million Dollar Rider, and the couple shares a strong presence in the show pen. They train out of Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, TX.
